The purpose of this episode is to talk about what masking looks like, how it impacts you and what are things you can do to stop masking and have the confidence to be who you really are!

What is masking? It is pretending or putting up a facade to the world that everything is ok. Or that you are someone that you are not. Commonly people feel they “should” be more organized or they don’t want people to know they are struggling with things in life that they feel other people don’t struggle with.

What you will discover in today’s episode:

  • What specifically masking looks like with ADHD
  • Why we mask
  • How to overcome the challenges with ADHD and masking

The more you put the mask on to hide who you really are or what you are really struggling with – the more you are saying “I am not good enough, I am not worthy” and you are pushing yourself away from who you truly are and you are making your symptoms worse.
