Woller, MD about guideline-directed treatment of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in special populations. DOACs are first-line therapy among most patients with DVT/PE, however, DOACs should be used with caution in certain patient populations. Listen and learn to recognize the circumstances when certain anticoagulant classes are preferred in select situations such as VTE among patients with cancer and other conditions.
