This week on the podcast we talk to Dr Julia Rucklidge about the role and importance of nutrition in overcoming mental health conditions like ADHD among children.
Dr. Rucklidge, is a professor of clinical psychology at the University of Canterbury, Australia. Over the last decade, she has been running clinical trials investigating the role of broad-spectrum micronutrients in the treatment of mental illness and recently developed an international free online course for the public on nutrition and mental health. She was named one of the top 100 Most Influential Women in New Zealand and her 2014 TEDx Talk has been viewed over 1.7 million times. She is the co-author of the book The Better Brain. She lives in Christchurch, New Zealand.
