In this interview, Michael Paas and I discuss the importance of psychology for athletes and coaches. We go over how to have the right mind set in athletics and using techniques such as mental imagery to prepare for competition and as a part of training to reach goals. We also talk about the importance of training cycles and how to utilize submaximal effort efficiently when training for competitions.

Michael Paas is a CrossFit ahtlete and coach. He is also a former Hope College football player and track coach. Michael double majored in Psychology and Exercise Science at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Michael utilizes his degree in both his own training and his ability to coach and mentor other athletes.
