Studies have shown that monitoring and treating intraoperative nociceptive events can lead to less postoperative pain, making it a critical aspect of patient care during surgery. Still there is a difference in the perceived importance of anesthetic depth vs antinociception monitoring among anaesthetists. Which are the reasons behind this reality?
