We began discussing Maker's Mark aborted plan to water down their bourbon, and Beth compared this move to the New Coke debacle in the 80s. From then we went into a half hour tangent that had very little to do with bourbon. We cut that from the episode because of time considerations. Episode 9 already turned out to be a 2 part episode, our longest ever. But we thought it was interesting enough to use as bonus material for later release. That time has come!
