Mihaela's academic and professional journey began with her completing a four-year Computing MEng degree at Imperial College London in 2014, where she graduated with first-class honours and was awarded for her exceptional overall performance. Her professional interests span a wide range of topics within the realm of machine learning, including generative models, reinforcement learning, NLP, and the broader goal of making machine learning scalable and safe. Mihaela is deeply fascinated by the study of probability distributions and their applications in learning models.
