Laura Vandervelde-Geabhart is a follower of Jesus, a wife, a mother of 4 young adult children, and a business owner. At 48, she's entering a new season in life, taking some wisdom from lessons learned applying them and focusing on serving God in all the ways He has created her with His help.

Laura was adopted as a child, raised by two very committed and loving parents, however even in what would seem to be great circumstances she unfortunately fell victim to physical and sexual abuse as a young child. This would be the lens that she would see life through as a child, adolescent and young adult, wife and parent, this set some unexpected and unfavorable courses for her life. But God always has a plan. He always redeems and He never forsakes us. Laura’s story was one that looked pretty on the outside but was dark on the inside. Now, she’s on a lifelong maintenance plan with Him. And there is no going back.
