People often waste so much of their valuable time trying to run away from experiences that didn't go their way. Without question, you have something in your past that haunts you and conjures up negative emotions every time thoughts of it resurface. It's human nature.

But remember...you're not alone. Each and every one of us has a past. And each and every one of us is in control of our mindset, our actions, and our decision-making so we make changes where necessary and not let our lives be steered by negativity.

Regardless of your experiences, they're yours. They make you who you are. Accomplishing a goal proves the hard work is worth it while suffering a failure helps you appreciate the good times even more while giving you something tangible to learn and grow from. It's all experience that makes you better at what you do.

In this episode of Be Real, I have a powerful, inspirational conversation with Chris Mooreland, a great friend of mine and a man who has had work ethic instilled in him before he could even drive legally. In order to attend the high school his parents thought was best for him, he had to get a job so he could help them pay for it. This dedication has helped shape Chris for the long haul and his undeniable passion and purpose bleeds into his family life, his entrepreneurial ventures, and his overall health, wellness, and endurance.

Chris and I share how experiences play THE key role in molding and shaping us through life. Whether it be the best of times or the worst of times, what transpires, combined with how we react and adapt to what transpires, will tell the story that defines our legacy.

We also discuss the role food plays in our world and how it literally makes or breaks the way we attack life. What does a healthy diet lead to? How does an unhealthy diet start a negative spiral that impacts how we operate day-to-day? You're just one click away from the answers!
