This week, we’re joined by wellness expert, board certified pediatrician and best selling author, Dr. Taz Bhatia. We do a deep dive into all things hormones for all phases of life. Whether its hormones in adolescence, pregnancy/postpartum or menopause, your hormones have a huge impact in your overall health and wellness. She emphasizes the importance of getting tested to know what our baseline or “normal” hormone levels are so that when issues arise as we get older, we can know where to look and what to supplement. Dr. Taz stresses that hormone health starts with gut health, and that we should focus on a healthy gut as early as are able. We also take a look at pregnancy and postpartum, and how our hormones fluctuate in those phases of growing a baby, birthing and healing.
