This is the miraculous story of Bharti Dhir, a woman abandoned as a newborn baby in Uganda, who overcame unimaginable hardships in her life. We sit down with Bharti as she shares the life-changing moment when she was discovered and adopted by a local Punjabi Sikh family, and how her mother's prophetic dreams of a baby girl played a role in this incredible tale.
Bharti's journey was far from easy, as she faced many challenges growing up with a dual heritage and a rare skin condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). In our conversation, Bharti reveals the various unconventional treatments her father sought to cure her condition, and how her family's unwavering love and support led her towards self-acceptance and healing.
