About David Brin:
David Brin is an acclaimed scientist, speaker, technical consultant, and internationally renowned author.
In 2013, Brin helped establish the Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imagination at UCSD, earning the title of “distinguished alumnus” and later became a Visiting Scholar in Residence.
Brin’s scientific contributions span astronautics, astronomy, and human evolution. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California at San Diego (the lab of nobelist Hannes Alfven) — followed a master's in optics and an undergraduate degree in astrophysics from Caltech.
He has been a postdoctoral fellow at the California Space Institute and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. His patents aim to enhance online interaction.
