Depression is a real disease. As real as cancer or diabetes. People take medicines when they are sick. Antidepressants are the medicines for Major Depressive Disorder (aka Depression).
Do antidepressants work? How does it feel like when you are on antidepressants? CC Hexe shares her story with depression and antidepressants.
Who's CC Hexe? CC is a brilliant standup comedian now based in NYC. She started to do standup at the age of 18 and later became a comedy writer on The Colbert Report show. Then a major depression episode hit her so she quit comedy and her past life, until she found her love for comedy again in Berlin, Germany.
