What is the role of stress in chronic health issues? Chronic stress is a modern-day disease. When we are chronically stressed, our body is not working properly. When we are living in chronic stress, we live in survival mode. We live in fight or flight constantly. In chronic stress, the body shuts down all non-essential processes, e.g., your immunity, reproduction etc. These processes are not necessary for immediate survival. That’s why so many of us are chronically ill.

The reason we are chronically stressed is because we don’t live in the present moment. We live in the mind, in the prison of all our should and have tos and to dos. We’re disconnected from our true selves, identifying with the mind.

In today’s podcast episode, I share with you ways how you can calm the nervous system, the body and the mind and get out of the prison of the mind. I share with you ways you can heal your body, mind, and soul.
