We can all agree sceners are a peculiar bunch, and our scene is a community like no other, juggling creativity and technical prowess, often even within the same individuals.
What does it do with us to create, compete and socialise in this environment, and how can we take care of our own and others’ wellbeing?
We explore the psychology behind the demoscene, demoparties and demomaking with Tom, who does not just create amazing Atari-demos with Genesis Project, Effect and SMFX, but also lectures on Community Psychology at the University of Leeds.
