In this episode I’ll be visiting with Lisa Deyo at Sweet Reads Bookstore in Downtown Austin. With spring just around the corner, many of your favorite authors are coming out with new material. Now would be a great time to stop in and pre-order the next book from your favorite author.
Then a visit with Julie Clinfelter at the Austin Public Library. The last couple of weeks the library has hosted some very large events and this weekend the Friends of the Library will be holding their second annual puzzle-palooza. This year’s event will feature two sessions, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. We’ll hear all about.
And finally, a very special conversation. I had the honor of visiting with the 2025 Paint The Town Pink Ambassador Breanna Bortner at the Hormel Institute. She will share with us her cancer journey. And we’ll talk with Brenna Gerhart, Development Administrative Manager, about events coming up that you can get involved with and help accelerate the answers to cancer.
