Peace comes from relying on Christ Jesus. That means we have to make a decision to turn from the evil things of the world because the evil things of the world bring tribulation on us. We have to live in the world and enjoy the good things of the world because God gave us the creation for us to enjoy and to live in. But this is not a perfect world and there is evil. And we are not to go after the evil things of the world but enjoy the good things of the world, but pursue only God, the Lord Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. And when we do that we discover that peace flows from God to us.
