Maya Reese, also known as "Overtime Maya" has contributed to helping Overtime Women's Basketball become the most followed women's sports platform across instagram and TikTok. We caught up with her to discuss her journey that has involved conversations with some of the faces of women's basketball, people such as Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart, and Paige Buckers.
We begin with her time at Howard University, that saw her complete internships with platforms such as complex, BET, NBC Sports, and ESPNU. We discuss the process that went into securing these opportunities, and how they affected her career going forward.
