Bonus: Q&A with Laurie O'Connel and Death Game!
Manage episode 401633921 series 2098928
Show Notes
To tide us over til our next one-shot, here's a bonus episode where our host and GM Fiona interviews game designer Laurie O'Connel, the creator behind Lichcraft, Hieronymus, and the upcoming Death Game!
Laurie’s TTRPG work covers a wide, wide range subjects, from the ‘weird’ to the ‘unsettling’. His latest project, Death Game is a narrative-driven tabletop roleplaying game when characters compete in a high-stakes battle for survival.
Inspired by the battle royale genre, whose touchstones include media like Hunger Games, Squid Game, and Alice in Borderlands, players will pick up characters struggling against all odds for victory. As the number of competitors narrows and the stakes grow higher, you'll play until one of you wins, and the rest of you die.
You can get more updates about Death Game and Laurie's other games by signing up to his newsletter and on his website, Twelve Pin Press.
