In episode 74 of Web3 Warriors, Krome reconnects with Kush Nubia, DJ and creator of the Secure Mt. Ward Creative Hearts NFT project - raising funds for schoolchildren in Jamaica. They discuss the importance of using web3 technology to make real-world impacts and how those impacts send ripples throughout society that will inevitably help blockchain adoption. Having both recently attended the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, Canada, they discuss some of the innovative projects they learned about and also how things could improve in the future. Specifically, the two discussed the need to put more cultural and social impacts front and centre at web3 events in order to celebrate the full potential of the technology.
Tune in for some inspiring insights about philanthropy in web3 and how attending IRL events can help you appreciate the work being done in this industry. View the video on YouTube to see some examples of Kush's art mentioned in the episode!
