Hey weather watchers! It's your friendly neighborhood meteorologist here with the Christmas Day forecast for Columbus, Ohio.
Ho ho ho, Santa might need an umbrella today! We're looking at a cloudy Christmas with temperatures hovering around 44 degrees Fahrenheit. There's a 40 percent chance of rain after 1 pm, so you might want to keep those holiday decorations under cover. Winds will be calm, gently shifting to the southeast at around 5 miles per hour.
Tonight, the festive precipitation party continues with another 40 percent chance of rain before 5 am. Temperatures will dip down to a chilly 38 degrees Fahrenheit, so keep that hot cocoa ready!
Looking ahead, Thursday will start cloudy but gradually clear up to mostly sunny, with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 49 degrees Fahrenheit. Friday brings more wet weather, with rain likely after 1 pm and temperatures reaching 52 degrees Fahrenheit.
The weekend looks like a washout, folks! Saturday has an 80 percent chance of rain with temperatures climbing to a mild 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday keeps things interesting with a 50 percent chance of rain and temperatures near 58 degrees Fahrenheit.
