Good morning, weather watchers! This is your Columbus area forecast coming to you hot... well, actually more like chilly today!
Let's break down what Mother Nature has in store for us. Today we're looking at a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures hovering around a brisk 34 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be whistling in from the west at around 7 miles per hour, so grab that light jacket.
Tonight, expect those clouds to play a little game of peek-a-boo, gradually clearing out and dropping temperatures down to a crisp 18 degrees Fahrenheit. Those west winds will be playing it cool at 3 to 6 miles per hour.
Moving into Monday, sunshine lovers rejoice! We're getting a nice bright day with temperatures climbing to near 36 degrees Fahrenheit. But hold onto your hats, because southwest winds will be kicking up to 16 miles per hour with gusts potentially reaching 31 miles per hour.
The rest of the week looks like a mixed bag of partly sunny and mostly cloudy conditions, with temperatures dancing between the high 20s and low 40s. Friday and Saturday have a 40 to 50 percent chance of rain, so keep those umbrellas handy.
