Good morning, weather watchers! Let's dive into the chilly forecast for the Columbus area.
Tonight, we're looking at a frosty overnight with a chance of light snow flurries. Temperatures will dip down to a brisk 12 degrees Fahrenheit, with a northwest wind around 5 miles per hour. Pack those extra layers, folks!
Moving into Friday, expect a partly sunny day with temperatures struggling to climb to around 22 degrees Fahrenheit. We'll see a few snow flurries dancing between 10 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. The west wind will be gentle, blowing at 3 to 7 miles per hour.
Friday night brings partly cloudy skies and a low of 11 degrees Fahrenheit, with a light south wind.
Saturday looks like a bit of a warmup, reaching near 35 degrees Fahrenheit with a southwest wind between 9 and 14 miles per hour. Expect some partial sunshine to break through the clouds.
The weekend continues with mostly cloudy conditions on Sunday, with temperatures hovering around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday night will cool down to about 19 degrees Fahrenheit.
Next week starts on a bright note. Monday brings sunny skies and a high near 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Tuesday continues the sunny trend with temperatures climbing to a mild 42 degrees Fahrenheit.
The rest of the week looks pretty consistent with mostly sunny days and partly cloudy nights, with temperatures ranging from the low 20s to high 30s.
