Good morning, Atlanta! Let's dive into today's weather forecast with a frosty start that'll have you reaching for that warm coffee.
We're kicking things off with widespread frost before 10 in the morning, but don't worry - sunshine is coming to save the day! Expect temperatures climbing to a crisp 48 degrees Fahrenheit with a gentle east wind blowing 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Tonight, get ready for another round of frost after 2 in the morning. We'll see mostly clear skies with temperatures dipping down to a chilly 31 degrees Fahrenheit. That east wind will be playing it cool, becoming calm after midnight.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, we're in for more frost before 9 in the morning, but then hello sunshine! Temperatures will warm up to a pleasant 56 degrees Fahrenheit with a light northwest wind around 5 miles per hour.
Christmas Day brings a slight 20 percent chance of showers after 1 in the afternoon. But don't cancel those outdoor plans just yet - we're looking at mostly sunny skies and a high near 56 degrees Fahrenheit.
As we roll into the weekend, things get a bit more unpredictable. Friday night and Saturday are showing a 30 percent chance of showers, with temperatures climbing to near 59 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday continues the wet trend with a 40 percent chance of rain.
