Good morning, Atlanta! This is your weather forecast coming in hot (or should I say, cool?) for the next few days.
Today, we're looking at a cloudy day with a 40 percent chance of rain rolling in after 3 in the afternoon. Temperatures will climb to a chilly 50 degrees Fahrenheit, with winds dancing from light and variable to a southeast breeze at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Expect some gusty moments up to 15 miles per hour.
Tonight gets interesting! We're in for a rainy rendezvous with showers likely after 3 in the morning. Temperatures will actually warm up to around 54 degrees, with southeast winds picking up to 10 to 15 miles per hour and potentially gusting up to 30 miles per hour. Rainfall is pretty much a guarantee, with about a quarter to half an inch expected.
Monday brings a cool twist. We'll see a 30 percent chance of morning showers, with temperatures dropping dramatically to around 35 degrees by mid-afternoon. Those winds will be doing some serious gymnastics - starting at 10 to 15 miles per hour and potentially ramping up to 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 35 miles per hour.
The rest of the week looks like a rollercoaster of chilly temperatures. We're talking sunny days with highs hovering around 41 degrees, and some seriously cold nights dipping down to the mid-20s.
Friday brings a bit of excitement with a chance of rain and snow - keeping things interesting at a 30 percent precipitation probability.
