This week we celebrate the the release of Grammy award-winning best album Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves a year ago.
Don't let Musgraves previous work fool you, as Niyaz and Clint establish early on that Golden Hour is distinctly a pop record with country undertones.
From the driving-down-the-highway-belting-out-notes-worthy "Butterflies," which is Niyaz's personal favorite and the crisp statement-making opener "Slow Burn," to the upbeat disco-infused, anthem "High Horse," which is Clint's favorite, Musgraves subtly inserts her country roots into a plethora of moods and genre-bending sounds.
