Pat joins the show for his 3rd appearance and with lots to talk about as he was just recently named the replacement for Ed Podolak in the radio booth. Pat played for the Hawks from 2005-2009 and then had a career in the NFL. He now returns to call Iowa games as the color commentator. We talk about what the process was like, interviewing and doing a simulated game call with Dolph. How it will work bringing his Pat Angerer flare to the job while still staying clean for the family friendly audience, and what this gig means to him personally getting to tie back in with Iowa Football after a decade plus away.
