John Olsen is an author and host of The Stranger Bridgerland Podcast. Each episode delves into the eerie and unexplained. Nestled in the scenic Cache Valley of northern Utah, John calls Wellsville home, where he lives with his wife and youngest son. When he’s not exploring the outdoors with his family, he’s diving into the supernatural.
John’s fascination with the paranormal began at a young age in his childhood home, an old farmhouse dating back to the 1880s. From mysterious knocks and phantom footsteps to unsettling encounters with what he calls the “man in the hat,” his experiences sparked a lifelong passion for the unknown. Despite his parents’ fears of judgment from their tight-knit community, John found solace in library books and personal encounters, leading him to discover that others had similar stories to share.
Over the past 25 years, John has dedicated himself to uncovering and documenting strange phenomena across the western United States. The Stranger Bridgerland series is your gateway to the extraordinary, featuring firsthand accounts of everything from ghosts and hauntings to Sasquatch and UFOs.
