Hello and welcome to the Two Scaredy Cats Podcast!
On this episode we are reviewing the legends surrounding the Christmas Witch a.k.a. Frau Perchta and Krampus from Germany and Austria. We discuss how these two characters are similar and how their legends began.
We also talk about Knocking night and what happens on this night. As we discuss these holiday traditions maybe instead of using Elf On The Shelf to get your child to clean their room, you could tell your child that Frau Perchta will come and disembowel them if they don't clean their room before they go to bed!
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
We will be taking a short break over the next month to spend time with family and enjoy the holidays before we come back with a new season on Friday Jan. 13 ,2023!
