In 2020 I started a walking practice to flex my freedom as a newly "retired" salon owner. I just thought it was so cool that I could go for a walk midday but I had no idea how this daily practice would boost creativity and change the way I do business.
Study after study has proven that walking boosts creativity, enhances cognitive function and can increase productivity. If I am struggling with something, not moving forward on a task or in the midst of creating something new I take a walk. I love all of these benefits but the greatest gift of all has been the deeper connection with myself.
I walk 15,000-20,000 steps a day- not for fitness but for grounding, getting quiet and opening up to pure magic. I call these walks my miracle miles. Today I’m sharing more about these steps of stillness and how they can connect you to your inner wisdom and impact your life and business as well.
