He co-founded the pressure group Survivors Against Terror in 2018, was awarded a Young Leaders in National Security Fellowship by the Counter Extremism Group, and is currently studying for a PhD at the University of Central Lancashire in the history of Islamist ideology and efforts to prevent the spread of extremism.

He currently advises Counter Terrorism Policing HQ, the National Emergencies Trust, and several other charities and NGOs, and served as the National Chair of the UK Counter Terrorism Youth Advisory Group from Mar. 2022 - Sep. 2023. In January 2023 he was given the British Citizen Award (BCA) by Parliament in recognition of his work, and he has spoken internationally on the issue of counterterrorism at the United Nations, Council of Europe, European Commission, and many more institutions.
