On this week’s episode Mr. and Mrs. Pearlmania500 dive head first into the soapy lore of the Dr. Bronners Castile soap label. Mrs. P explains to Alex the deep and sometimes tragic history of Dr.Bronner, his famous peppermint soap and the label that keeps everyone reading when they forgot their phone in the bathroom.

This story starts in Germany in 1908 expanding all the way to a California Avacado ranch in that 1990s. Dr. Bronner's need to argue religion while making high quality soaps and other products lead to the creation of the All One! system and the Moral ABC's that he believed would combat the world's growing reliance on Chemicals and Nuclear power.
