In today's podcast, Tina from Tina in Manila Talks will talk about how to properly terminate a staff in the Philippines without paying separation pay.
We will talk about the Just Causes of Termination, the correct procedure in terminating a staff legally following just causes, and why separation pay should not be paid if the staff is truly guilty of an offense, and it's his or her fault on why he/she is being terminated.
We will talk about the Twin Notice Rule, Due Process, and the dreaded Administrative Hearing which happens before Termination. We will also talk about separation pay and why there is no separation pay for employees who were terminated due to just causes.
