About Ahdedott:
Atlanta has been one of hip-hop's epic enters and a Mecca of
southern rap music, and while the genre continually pushes new
talents, the city has historically produced inspiring veterans.
Ahdedott is no different. The St.Louis native found a passion
for writing after her second grade reading teacher pressed her
to use creative writing as a positive outlet. Not long after
that, she began writing more and more, eager togetherideas
out into the world.
Living in the midwest, she was ironically
inspired by alot of southern talent as she became captivated
with rap music in particular. The pens of Jermaine Dupri, Da
Brat, UGK, Missy Elliot, Eve, Queen Latifah, and Lil Jon were
just some of the many that left their mark on her befor eshe
eventually decided to turn her passion in to a profession. She
would go on to attend Lincoln University o fMissouri where she
earned adegree in Broadcast Journalism, eventually becoming a
DJ and Radio host at KJLU88.9FM.
