A Nas albuma 30 éve jött ki ennek alkalmára készitette FranKut ezt az összeállitást! Az 1994-ben megjelent Illmatic, Nas debütáló albuma, mely máig az egyik legfontosabb és legbefolyásosabb hip-hop albumnak számít. A Queensbridge-i rapper, Nas, 21 évesen mesteri szövegeivel és a kemény, városi témákkal foglalkozó narratíváival ragadta meg a hallgatókat. Az albumot a hip-hop aranykorának kiemelkedő producerei, DJ Premier, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, L.E.S. és maga Nas alkották meg. A zene stílusa hardcore hip-hop, melyet a belső rímek, a sample-alapú hangzás és a sötét hangulat jellemez. Az Illmatic nem csak kritikai sikert aratott, de kereskedelmileg is sikeres volt, a Billboard 200-as listán a 12. helyre jutott. Az album hatása máig érezhető a hip-hop műfajában, inspirálva ezzel a rappereket és producereket.
