Tiger Talk is an AWARD WINNING podcast that is written and produced by 4th and 5th grade EAST students at John Tyson Elementary School of Innovation in Springdale, Arkansas. The theme of Season 6 is #go2ARfestivals. The hosts of Tiger Talk, and their guests, will encourage families to get outside and enjoy the fun festivals that are held in Arkansas. This season's intro song was composed and played by 4th grade EAST student Kaylee.
Today, the hosts of Tiger Talk interview Healey Ikerd, Licensed Professional Counselor and author, about the benefits of being outside and traveling with family.
Tiger Talk has exciting news! Thanks to our Tiger Talk fam, The Arkansas Podcast Collaborative presented Tiger Talk with ARKAST Awards in three categories!! Tiger Talk was selected as The Arkansas Podcast Collaborative's ARKAST Award winner for Best Education Podcast and Best Kids and Family Podcast. Gabby, the host of season 5, was named Young Podcaster of the Year! The Arkansas Podcast Collaborative celebrates excellence in podcasting in the American South.
