On this quarantine episode, we dive into what has been deemed as one of the most unaddressed topics in Public Health, also a direct linked to various chronic diseases and risky behaviors- childhood trauma. We, along with Senior Director of Program Outreach, Lesford Duncan, an alumnus of LLUSPH, discuss the importance of resilience in the midst of adversity such as COVID-19, ACES, signs associated with childhood trauma and how the outdoors can bring about healing.
