“It’s when I accepted failure that I found success,” says our guest Dr. David Burns, an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, and author of the best-selling book, Feeling Good: The New Mood Therapy. He’s also creator of the Feeling Great App https://www.feelinggreat.com/ . Dr. Burns walks us through why acceptance is so important for health and happiness. He says, “Depression and anxiety are some of the worst forms of human suffering,” and so he created a process that he says can quickly combat these difficult feelings. He gives examples of his work and insights into the importance of acceptance in your life.
