This is Part A of a 3-part discussion with my friend and fellow journeyman electrician Brian Reyes. Brian works on photography, in his spare time, under his website that is entitled, “Photacular Imagery”. For the past few years, Brian has been signing the visitor book as a traveling Local #3 IBEW NYC journeyman out in California. The union traveling term for a visiting electrician has been known as a “tramp”. Therefore, Brian shares with me about the vast cultural differences between New York and California and his traveling stories. In this podcast episode, I also discussed with Brian how he first broke into the trade as a kid who went to school in the South Bronx. Additionally, I asked him to share some of his funniest and scariest stories during his +20-year career as an electrician. This is the first third of a discussion that I have with Brian.
