Hello neighbors - Trev here : One week ago a friend of mine sent me a video from the other side of the political spectrum. My response one week ago today kicked off a week of engagement that gave me hope that bridges can be built spanning the narratives of division. In this week of bridge-building there was one bridge that needed major work between my friend and I.
Years of distance fueled by divisive narratives shaped by a worldwide pandemic, a fight for Black lives, and an insurrection, strained what was a close relationship that transcended race. This video brings this weeklong ride full-circle to where it began. An exchange between two friends.
