The Unsupervised Mom Podcast is a weekly show about the grins and grime of single motherhood, with an intent to help single mothers navigate it, God’s way.

Happy Grief Awareness Day!
In this week's episode we are discussing a thing that rears its ugly head at various stages in our experience of single mommy hood: grief. In this rich discussion about grief, Zaynah, licensed counselor, coach, and mom, helps us to unpack practitioners' definition of grief, how to address grief in our lives, understand what God desires for us as we heal through grief, and how to re-establish who we are during the healing process.
Zaynah Hunt is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Hampton University, a Master’s degree from North Carolina State University, and a Master’s degree from Liberty University. Using a collaborative approach, Zaynah Hunt enjoys helping individuals address their life challenges, mental health needs, and develop healthy relationships with themselves and others. As a licensed therapist, who is a Christian, her passion also includes bringing mental health awareness to faith -based communities.
"Healing is what heals grief, not time." -Zaynah Hunt
