Frank Depalma spent 42 years in prison. 22 of those years in solitary confinement. Frank killed a black man. Coming into the system in 1975 (the year I was born) at 18 years of age, this kid was exposed to a world of violence, mayhem and most of all racism. Prison is a breeding ground for this hatred and ideology. It starts in the Administration and Im not talking about the prison administration. Frank is being bred for hatred and racism by this system until it starts to become part of him. The lies which causes misperception had Frank realizing that everything these hate groups in prison were saying was becoming true, not fully understanding the history, the mistrust and abuse one race has taken from another, the anger in both races towards each other all stemming from lies and agenda of division. In prison we are all exposed to racism from day one when we have to make a choice on who to walk with, eat with, cell with and associate with. This choice can have deadly consequences usually within the week. It all depends on your character whether you make it out alive or not. Some fall victim to the fear and become something they dont truly believe in only for protection, not realizing that when you make a deal with the devil, the devil always comes out ahead. Some though stand up for what they believe in and ooooh is that such a hard line to walk... This episode is one of many I had with Frank. We delve into how he ended up in prison for all those years and how he ultimately took a life. Like many Frank when into prison with a 10 year sentence from an overzealous and penal Judge and ended up spending most of his life in prison when all he was trying to do was survive. #prison #truecrime #viral #trending #fyp @everyone
