According to the International Energy Agency, progress on clean energy technology deployment exceeded expectations in 2022. Still, the pace will need to pick up to achieve the ambitious goal of net zero emissions by 2050. This will require rapidly upgrading the infrastructure that supports smart energy solutions and connects seamlessly across energy production, distribution, storage, and consumption.
