On this episode of The Schoch Factor Podcast, Stephen Schoch catches up with one of the Robinhoods of pirating in East Carolina's Carter Cunningham (Barter Bunningham). In terms of being an ECU Pirate baseball player, Carter does a phenomenal job, mashing home runs and being a leader both at the plate and defending it. In terms of being a nautical sea pirate, that’s where I do unfortunately see him falling short. Most pirates would pillage and steal and keep treasures for themselves, whereas Carter is a pirate who is giving back through a campaign called “Homers that Help,” donating the money to Maynard Children’s Hospital. Personally, I think Carter’s pirate choices are pretty rad!
