I took a deep dive into 2005, along with special guest, Tom Duncan of The Greatest Movie of All-Time Podcast, and after the episode we turned the voting over to you, the people!
Five of the six categories (Picture, Director, Lead Actress, and Supporting Actor/Actress) went to our social media polls, as we were only able to unanimously agree with one actual Academy Award winner in 2005 (Lead Actor - Philip Seymour Hoffman).
The voting has concluded and it's time to share the results and officially add these winners to the coveted Revisionist's Almanac.
With this episode cycle completed, we turn our attention to episode seven, the big midyear special, where I was joined by the entire 1001by1 Podcast Crew (Adam St. John, Britt Reinholz-Hobson, and Joey Rogate) to dissect the year 1994 (Forrest Gump). This episode will release on Friday, July 5th.
