When you want to get new customers or clients for your business, one of the fastest ways is to simply turn to paid ads, like on Facebook. But with all the targeting options in there, it can get really complicated.

This week I have the honor of being joined by my personal Facebook ads guru, Amanda Bond. She’s incredibly gifted when it comes to Facebook advertising, and she’s gonna walk us through the “gold standard” targeting option you should be using — the Lookalike audience.

The concept couldn’t be simpler… you simply create a custom audience of people who either visit your website, opt in for your lead magnet, or even paying customers. You then deputize Facebook to do what they do best — crunch the data.

Specifically, they figure out what all your best converters, or customers have in common. Then (here’s the good part!) they scour their users to find millions of other potential customers who have the same thing in common, and look just like your existing customers. (Look like, lookalike, get it?)

There are some serious a-ha moments in this episode, so even if Facebook ads aren’t on your radar, just give it a listen.
