#05: Do it for you

Do this podcast for YOU, not because you're like, "well, it's going to be good for my business, and a friend in my Facebook Group said it's a good idea, and you should try it out for your business."
It all starts by having a real conversation about the things that really matter to you, and this conversation happens with you.
In this episode, I share a story from my magazine days about a peer from another publication. This person was doing a podcast that they were so passionate about, and put so much care in doing pre-chats before each interview.
I remember meeting up with them for drinks one year at a trade event, and they were expressing so much doubt because of the time it took, and the podcast not producing results yet. I said, "just keep going, you're doing it right. This is what it's about... your heart and your passion is in this for the long game. It will pay off!"
So, you my dear listener, this is a message for you too. Keep your sights on your vision. Forget the timeline, or when you think it's supposed to "happen." There is no timeline. It's all made up. It's all so arbitrary.
ACTION is where the magic and confidence happens. Focus your love, passion and energy there, and sparks will fly!
