Regina "Pinky" Dowker is the guest on this episode of the NoteSpire Music Artist Insight. Regina lives near Denton, TX, and is a member of the Christian music group "Gems Of Grace", which she started in 2015 together with Suzanne Benavides Sutherland. Jerry Rizzi and Cassie Clayton have recently joined the group. Regina is pianist and keyboardist for the group, and has written several instrumental songs in addition to the many songs she has helped write for the group.
She shares in this interview about her past struggles with thyroid issues and surgery, and the miraculous healing she received.
Regina also writes a devotional blog called "Sugar Sticks With Pinky", which airs as a radio show on WNSM-DB NoteSpire Radio. She says that the name Sugar Sticks "...came from the fact that my momma always advised to get a verse to stand on and called them “sugar sticks”.
Her show airs on WNSM-DB NoteSpire Radio Mondays at 7:30 am ET and Wednesdays at 4:30 pm ET.
