Sheriff Lindsey grew up in Shoshone County and came up in the Sheriff’s office at a time when it was difficult for women to break into Law Enforcement. That experience helped shape her style of community policing and her strong ties to the local population.

Sheriff Lindsey shares about the challenges faced in her department, specifically how lack of funding impacts competitive pay and facility updates. She also discusses the recent crime trends that are plaguing the residents of Shoshone County, including the recent rise in crimes against children and the fentanyl epidemic that is also sweeping the entire nation.
