Through careful analysis, we explore the motivations behind the American intervention and the consequences it brought forth. The sad truth is that the United States is vastly more responsible for this catastrophe than is recognized. We discuss the deployment of American troops and their role in the fight against ISIS, questioning the long-term consequences of such military interventions, and the extent to which out of control Jihadism was a US creation in the first place.

Perhaps most importantly, we explore the ongoing economic ramifications of American actions in Syria. These sanctions imposed by the United States have destroyed Syria's economy, exacerbating the suffering of the Syrian people. Put simply, Syria will not be allowed to recover, no matter what the Arab League does, until the United States changes this murderous policy.
